Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a Global Supply Manager, Retail Development for an extendable W2 only, Contract position in Newark, CA. This position pays $40-50hr. W2. Responsibilities:Create Purchase requisitions and track them to completion.Assist purchasing and Retail Development team with PO changes and updates. Ensure teams are properly submitting purchase requests in Jira and process voice reconciliation. Work with Vendors and AP for outstanding invoices. Improve plete NDAs and conduct RFIs.Create RFQs, review, analyze and clarify quotations from vendors and develop sound sourcing and business recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time, and technical considerations.Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and manage cost changes throughout the lifecycle of the product. Maintain overall contractor relationships and act as single point of contact for all issues. Responsible for the selection of vendors and onboarding.Work with internal business partners; Finance, Legal, Accounts Payables, Warehouse managers and other cross functional teams on projects.Own key supplier relationships and performance, both strategic and tactical, through the entire life cycle of company projects. Required Skills:Bachelor's degree Supply Chain, Finance or related technical field, relevant work experience in procurement, or supply chain discipline may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.Must have Indirect Procurement experience, Retail Procurement experience is preferred.Strong negotiation skills and strategic business experience.Excellent critical thinking, combined with quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.Experience conducting bid processes (RFI, RFP, and informal bids), negotiating with vendors, writing contracts, and implementing contracts agreements.Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and keep a high level of focus.Ability to adapt to constantly evolving circumstances and changing organizational requirements.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Excel, Smartsheets, ERP Systems (SAP), Coupa, and Jira.Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and follow-through.A commitment to learning and development that encourages personal and professional growth.Pay for this position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
