Job Description:

One of the most established, system integration companies in the US hiring for a Senior Controls Engineer to work closely with the top Pharmaceutical companies in the industry. As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will lead a team of engineers identifying client requirements, develop specifications, implement, test, commission, and qualify automation systems.Responsibilities include:Work on greenfield projects - construction of new building sites facilities.Work on upgrades and retooling - capital equipment projects.Manage and lead automation design and implementation activities establishing the processes.Lead up to 5 engineers assigning activities and provide mentorshiptraining.Be involved throughout the full process lifecycle from identifying customer requirements, develop specifications and control system architectures, program PLCHMISCADA systems to commissioning and validation.Develop electrical schematics - low and mid level voltages, and electrical control panels.25% travel to customer sites in Massachusetts.Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in any Engineering field, or Computer Science is required.Ideally 10+ years' experience in Automation Controls mostly, if not all in the Life Sciences sector.GMP, GxP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11 experience.PLC hardwaresoftware platforms (Rockwell Automation preferred).HMISCADA platforms (Rockwell, Ignition, Wonderware)S88 Batch processes experience.Project leading experience - minimum 34 years'.
