We are also a proud six-time winner of Chicago Tribune's "Top Workplace" award.Click here to see a day in the life of a Property Manager!ResponsibilitiesOversees multi-family apartment community Collect rent and maintain computer records; Follow-up delinquent accounts and pursue collections in accordance with an established procedureLeads, motivates and manages onsite team, including leasing agentsAddress resident concerns in a professional manner and solve problemsConduct property inspections for cleanliness, curb appeal and to ensure property integrity is maintained. Coordinate maintenance of the property alongside the Maintenance SupervisorMaintain favorable relationships between residents, employees and corporate officesTreats tenants and property as if they were your ownRequirementsQualifications Minimum Skills to Apply:Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Mobile CommunicationWorking knowledge of the Yardi property management platformWillingness to work a flexible schedule as needed to show unitsknowledge of laws and standards to Property Management, such as Fair Housing Laws, Landlord-Tenant Laws, Local, and State Building CodesAccess to a reliable automobile - REQUIREDBenefitsCompensation and Benefits:Base pay depends on experienceBenefits include full health insurance package, long and short-term disability, 401(k) with generous company match, three weeks' vacation, and five sick days per year
