We put the unity in "opportunity."Opportunity Snapshot:Compensation: TBDLocation: Hillsboro, ORAssignment Duration: Contract-to-directWork Scheduled: M-F 7AM-4PM HybridBenefits: Comprehensive BenefitsThis position requires a Professional Engineer License (PE)Responsibilities:Perform engineering calculations and providing design data parameters, and design reviews, within HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing and related mechanical facilities systemsEstablish design requirements and produce construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing toolsDesign oversight for piping and ducting for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust and process chemicals gasses for extensive toolsDesign may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection and specification, and support during construction and integration into the factoryBuild utility requirement documents to allow the development of installation design packagesProvide technical training, quality check designs and assist directly with the more complex portions of the design processPE stamping may be required for designsInteract directly with clients and contractors to assist with construction on siteQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical EngineeringA Professional Engineer License (PE)6+ years' experience in Mechanical Engineering including: HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing and related mechanical facilities systemsKnowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks is a plusThe Bergaila Way:The Bergaila Companies is a nationally recognized leader in providing staffing services to all sectors of the energy industry.
