Job Description:

Provide overall leadership and day-to-day on site supervision of subcontractor and CM field labor forcesFirst 6 months will be primarily night and weekend workPosition will then transition into standard 40 hour weekProactively manage project-related issues on assignment and provide superior customer serviceTeam-oriented individual who will work in tandem with Project Manager to ensure timeliness of submittals and procurement of materials for the project in accordance with the scheduleManage QAQC process in field and maintain OSHA and DOB safety complianceMeet annual goals and objectives set by management team and contribute to the growth of the companyDemonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all technology as required for assigned projects.Essential FunctionsProactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment.Demonstrating a proactive focus on meeting customer and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.Team orientedProvide day-to-day on site supervision of all tradesConduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and producedistribute minutesComplete Daily Logs in Procore, including before & after photos and manpower breakdownManage QAQC process in fieldProvide progress reports for schedule updates, including 2-3 week look-a-head schedules on a weekly basisManage subcontractor coordination of scopes to ensure that all subcontractors are providing the scopes of work that they owe, with no gaps or "doubling up" which could result in unnecessary change ordersMaintain OSHA and DOB safety complianceWork in tandem with Project Manager to ensure timeliness of submittals and procurement of materials for the project in accordance with the project scheduleReview RFI's in tandem with PMReview submittals in tandem with PM and APM prior to issuance to design team.Track potential change orders and collaborate with PM in maintaining accurate PCO log.Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all technology as required for assigned ply with all OC Construction Management policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills and AbilitiesNYC DOB Superintendent License5+ years of practical experience in a project superintendent role.Experience in construction management or real estate preferredStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level management and customersOrganizational skills with the ability to identify and manage prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail orientedAbility to multi-task and work both in a team and independentlyProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Procore preferred
