DESIGN SHOP LEADERNAPLES, FLSerena & Lily is seeking a Design Shop Store Leader to lead our new Design Shop opening in Naples, FL. The Design Shop Leader is responsible for establishing and maintaining client services, oversees and is accountable for the operation of a store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through hiring, merchandising, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage. This is a wonderful opportunity to be a leader in a customer focused and design driven environment.Ideally, we are looking for candidates who are available to work fulltime hours which may include weekends and some summer holidays. Our fulltime roles offer a generous benefits package and additional perks.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Master, teach and hold team accountable for embodying and operating by the Serena & Lily Brand Ethos (Innovation, Style, Integrity, Optimism, Expressiveness, Confidence & Appreciation)Ensure Brand Expression is always conveyed appropriately in Design Shop presentation and associate behaviorEnsure that each client andor designer receives outstanding client service by providing a warm, friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every client, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of client serviceMaster and teach brand standards regarding outreach, design advice, floorplans and mood board creation for in-store or virtual design advise requestsCreate a warm, welcoming, inspiring, and empathetic on-brand client experienceManage Assistant Store Leader and Design Advisors in all daily aspects relevant to driving sales and running the businessAnalyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives. Grow client base, including designer outreachCoach, counsel and continually develop team through continual evaluation and reaction to performance issues in conjunction with the Executive Leadership TeamActively recruit Design Advisor & Leadership candidates to maintain appropriate staffing level.Control shrink, expenses, and payrollEnsure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise presentations; signing, and assortment in all departments; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked. Lead and maintain visual standards of the store, per home office directivesUnderstand, uphold and monitor compliance to company policies and proceduresEffectively and efficiently communicate directives from home officeLead in home design consultation processAny other responsibilities as assigned by LeadershipESSENTIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Industry awareness and strong business acumenProven ability to lead, motivate and inspire team to achieve excellenceProven track record of meeting and exceeding goals through solid business planningProven ability to deliver excellent client service standard and ability to lead best practice implementationSuperior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to ask questions and seek solutions; self-starterMeticulous organization and attention to detailAbility to use a MacBook for web navigation, email and Zoom, 3-D rendering experience a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.QUALIFICATIONS:5-7 years of retail leadership experience, interiorshome furnishings field preferredStrong contacts in and knowledge of the local interior design community is preferredAbility to lead in a team environmentStrong sense of personal styleESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to process information and merchandise through computer system and POS systemAbility to communicate with associates and clientsAbility to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentationAbility to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor and stock areaAbility to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the storeAbility to climb laddersAbility to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 poundsAbility to work varied hoursdays to oversee store operations including weekend and holidaysCOMPENSATION:$90-105k depending on experienceEmployees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance should they choose to participate in Serena & Lily's benefits.
