The core principle for all employees at AKIRA is to Act and Think Like an Owner, and this belief can be reflected across all areas of the company.The PositionMerchandise PlannerLocationChicago, ILOverview:The AKIRA Merchandise Planner will be responsible for OTB updating andre-forecasting, class and SKU planning, and ad hoc reporting as needed across all categories. Most importantly we need this person to be able to tell the story with the numbers. This is a full-time, on-site position.Responsibilities:Seasonal hind sighting on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis to present and share with buying teamSales and inventory re-forecasting as neededDaily, weekly, and monthly reporting as well as Ad Hoc reporting based on business needsIn-season inventory management through markdowns and receipt analysisPre-season planning and assortment architectureUpdating, maintaining, and managing OTB.
