Position: Loan Resolution CoordinatorStatus: Full-Time Non-Exempt The Company:American Mortgage Investment Partners Management, LLC ("AMIP") is a SEC registered investment advisor and vertically integrated operating platform specializing in distressed residential mortgages and alternative credit. Headquartered in Seal Beach, CA, with capital markets staff in New York City, AMIP is comprised of mortgage and real estate professionals with the specialized investing and asset management experience to acquire, manage and remediate non-performing ("NPL") and re-performing ("RPL") residential whole loans and real estate owned ("REO") properties throughout the United States.  Job Description:AMIP is searching for a Loan Resolution Coordinator who possesses an extensive and broad working knowledge of mortgage servicing, bankruptcy, foreclosure, collections, and loan modifications. The Loan Resolution Coordinator will work closely with the other members of the servicing team and be responsible for taking borrower phone calls, general servicing functions, and other ad hoc functions.Specific Responsibilities Include:·        Assisting in monitoring of foreclosure milestones and inputting data into the servicer's operating system, as well as collecting the associated foreclosure documents pertaining to each milestone. Oversight and tracking of the default processes including, but not limited to foreclosure and loss mitigation monitoring and data reconciliation directly with the lender. ·      Contact borrower and obtain reason for default, provide and discuss loss mitigation options with borrower, obtain required documents from the borrower for submission to lender, and notify the lender regarding the loss mitigation option that the borrower accepted or is applying for. Provide monthly reporting of default processes including, but not limited to foreclosure activity for investor accounts.·        Works closely with servicing accounting department to approve the acceptance of incoming funds on accounts that are in a foreclosure such as trial payment plans, reinstatements, payoffs, and funds from 3rd party foreclosure sales.·        Process and track Short Sale and Short Payoff Funds requests, approvals, receipt of funds and ensuring that funds are applied appropriately towards the loan.·        Collect mortgage payments from the borrower , structurenegotiate repayment arrangements with borrowers who are delinquent on their account or delinquent on their forbearancemodification agreement. Ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements, company policies & procedures, pertinent regulations, and industry standards. Job Skill Requirements: ·        Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience required.·        Minimum of five (5) years of broad experience in mortgage loan servicing andor default, asset management, loss mitigation preferred, but not required.·        Minimum of three (3) years of specialized default mortgage servicing experience preferred, but not required.·        Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook)·        Strong written and verbal communication skills.·        Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.·        Currently NMLS licensed or able to obtain.·        Understanding of mortgage fundamentals·        Effective communication (oral & written) with employees, vendors, and senior executives.·        Subject matter expertise: asset management, non-performing loans, all loan retention options (i.e., Modifications), all non-retention options (i.e. DILs), foreclosures, bankruptcy, servicing oversight, state and federal (CFPB) compliance  Personal Attributes:·        Resolve Confidence strength of character·        Detail oriented·        Devoted Exceptionally hard working works well under pressure·        Entrepreneurial·        Analytical·        Mature Credible·        Hands on·        Creative "Out of the box" thinking·        OrganizedOther Considerations: This person will be employed by the servicer in Anaheim Hills but work on a team dedicated to the AMIP portfolio. This is a full-time in office position.Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.Responsibilities[Be specific when describing each of the responsibilities.
