The future of central plants and your next opportunity are available today!JOB SUMMARYThe Building Controls Technician configures, monitors & troubleshoots the control systems of TEAL automated equipment. The Technician collaborations with clients, as well as TEAL Engineering and Product Development teams to ensure the efficient and effective control of the TEAL Systems, enabling optimal performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInstall and configure hardware and software components (analog sensors, digital sensors, electronic control boards, networking equipment)Repair or replace damaged hardwareUpgrade systems firmware with provided toolsWork with technicians remotelyTravel to client sitesPerform tests on new hardware and softwareBasic network troubleshooting (Router issues, modem malfunctions etc.)Troubleshoot hardware and software issuesProtecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measuresMonitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be madeConferring with network users about solving existing system problemsOther duties as assigned.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSAssociates degree in computer scienceComputer Information Systems or engineering or related field, preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience as an IT technicianA+ Certification a plus!Understanding of low voltage (DC AC) systems.Basic mechanical knowledge (sensors, various meters, power, wiring etc.)Experience troubleshooting PCs, phones, routers, modems etc.Proficient with Windows, Android, and IOSWilling to travel to client sitesExcellent problem solverAbility to work independently as well as collaborative effectively within a team.Strong communication and documentation skillsCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:PTO Allotment of 120 hours 3 weeks after 90 days of employmentCompetitive CompensationHolistic Health Coverage (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability), including 247 medical concierge services401k Plan with a generous employer match10 Paid Holidays and Birthdays offMemberships to professional organizations are paid for by the CompanyCasual Dress Code$500 cash for first time home buyers!Teambuilding - Have fun with the team at sporting events, lunches, and other group festivitiesExcellent growth and advancement opportunities.TEAL is an Equal Opportunity Employer. TEAL requires pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
