The ideal candidate will bring a passion for the game of golf, a commitment to excellence, and a proven ability to manage diverse aspects of club operations. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will be instrumental in achieving success at La Cumbre. Essential Duties:Golf Operations Management: Oversee daily golf operations while ensuring impeccable execution of all golf-related activities. This includes management of the first tee, tee sheet, golf shop, practice areas, golf cart fleet, golf bag storage, cart facility, outside services team, and all other golf facilitiesareas. Provide excellent customer service by greetingassisting membersguests, selling merchandise, answering phones, and proactively addressing issues.Team Leadership and Staff Development: Provide supervision, leadership, and training to the outside services staff. Foster a culture of professionalism and outstanding customer service.Tournament and Event Coordination: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing golf tournaments and special events. Collaborate with the Head Golf Professional and other departments for scheduling, preparation, and seamless on-site struction and Player Development: Develop and conduct comprehensive golf instruction programs including individual coaching, group clinics, and a junior golf program. Perform club fittings and club repair services.Member Engagement and Growth: Implement strategies to enhance memberguest satisfaction and increase engagement. Play golf with a wide array of members.  Manage play and build rapport with the membersguests on the first tee and while driving the course.Retail and Merchandising: Focus on delivering an exceptional shopping experience for membersguests. Maintain the appearance of the golf shop by regularly cleaning and organizing to create an immaculate workspace and professional environment. Assist in inventory control and merchandise ordering.Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the director of communications to promote the club's offerings effectively. Utilize digital platforms to increase visibility and participation in club programs and events.Technology and Systems Utilization: Utilize golf-related technology systems for efficient operation. Stay abreast of industry advancements in software and equipment. Stay updated with industry trends, golf technology, and teaching techniques. Additional Responsibilities:Proactively address memberguest concerns to ensure a high quality of service.Regularly update skills and knowledge in golf instruction and operations.Represent the club in professional golf events and associations.Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:Demonstrate leadership ability including skills to communicate and express ideas and directives clearly to other staff members.Excellent problem analysis and problem-resolution skillsSuperior multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills to ensure a quick response to members'guests' needs.High level of active listening skills and customer service skills, which includes the ability to resolve issuescomplaints with tact and diplomacy.Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership and people management skillsProfessional and courteous demeanorAbility to create high performance teams and to be a strong team player.Demonstrate a strong commitment to the golf operation's core puter proficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.Advanced understanding and proficiency utilizing Golf Genius for golf events.Experience operating Northstar software preferred.Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); college degree preferred. PGA Membership or PGA PGM Associate Program Level 2 or greater. Minimum three years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High-end private golf club experience preferred.Physical Demands:Frequently stands for extended periods of time. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds.
