Process Engineer IIATTRACTIVE SKILLSEXPERIENCES:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field)Experience (5+ years) with relevant engineering activities in a manufacturing settingExperience with CNC Programming (required)Familiarity with HAAS controllers (preferred)Knowledge of optical glass and its applications (preferred)Demonstrated communication skills (written oral) including the ability to readspeak EnglishAbility and willingness to work in fast-paced, matrix structured organizationSUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Generates G Code Programs for CNC Machines in CAD SoftwareModel fixtures based on the direction of EngineersSupervisorsSet up machines for Operators on the floor for jobsExecute non-routine engineering tasks related to projects and customer support with close supervision of an engineermanagerConduct training on the use of all instrumentationequipment within a specified areaFollow procedures and utilize supplied mathematical formulations to obtain measurements and resultsCollect and analyze data utilizing a variety of test equipment and instrumentationConduct non-routine tests and experiments to develop products and processesAssure equipment is operating properly along with performing routine maintenanceMaintain records of all results in an orderly and established mannerReport data and information to appropriate personnel within the organization to influence a variety of production, quality, sales and research decisions. These reports can be oral andor written as specified by their supervisorMaintain appropriate levels of supplies required for the operation of equipment within a specified areaIdentify improvement measures related to processes, tests and experimental procedures and makes suggestions on how to improve such activities to improve efficiency (to the ManagerEngineer)Modify andor update procedures as requiredPrepareOrganize data in graphs, spreadsheets, charts
