DPS is dedicated to delivering successful projects with a "˜client-first' mentality and personal touch across a range of market sectors: Project and Program Management, Procurement, Design, Construction Management, Health and Safety Management, Commissioning, Qualification, and Start-up.We are looking for a team-oriented Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join a competitive, driven and fun team of engineers and technical professionals with a strong focus on design excellence, customer satisfaction and integrity. We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of the pre-construction part of engineering lifecycle related to Control and Automation System Design for clean rooms, laboratories, GMP manufacturing facilities of biotech, pharma, and life sciences industries. Responsibilities:Prepare Instrumentation and Controls deliverables for different design phases based on P&ID's. specifications, standards, codes, and customer input.Work directly with lead engineers to develop technical strategy and deliverables for Biotech and Pharmaceutical client projects.Demonstrated understanding of controls for fermenters, bioreactors, centrifuge, viral filtration, chromatography, and other Biotech Pharmaceutical process equipment.Coordinate and interact effectively with project managers, vendors, and engineers across multiple disciplines such as Process Engineering, MEP, etc.Identify deliverables, defining requirements, create design documents and contribute to design reports.Develop technical controls specificationsstrategies and network architecture design.Qualifications:Chemical or Electrical Engineering majors.Control Systems Engineering experience involving: DCS, PLC, MES, SCADA, bus technologies, EthernetIPPrevious experience working in the BiotechPharma, Chemical, Food or other industries.Thorough knowledge of P&IDs, Instrumented, and Automated system hardwareKnowledge of CIP, SIP, and process utilities control systemsStrongly motivated, well-organized, and shows professional initiative.Takes ownership of assignments, can work both independently and as part of the team.Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
