Our transparent and collaborative culture offers a chance to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry.Position Description:We are currently hiring for Project Lead level professionals for our Decision Science practice who have expertise in PatientEpidemiology based forecasting within BiopharmaOncologySuccess in this position requires:Candidates will be expected to have expertise in managing & developing PatientEpidemiology based forecasting models for pharma clients within BiopharmaOncologyResponsibilities:Bring subject-matter expertise in Forecasting and Commercial Analytics, to solve a range of business problems in the biopharma domain.Manage and develop long range, and short-range, pipeline, and BD&L forecastsIndependently create prevalence or incidence-based patient models using information from public domain datasets, literature research, primary market research, and secondary datasetsThorough understanding of demand-based forecasting models (prescription or units)Lead client discussions aimed at identifying business issuesneeds, articulating precise problem statements, devising solution approachmethodology, and leading project delivery and analytical troubleshooting.Business problems will span at customer (provider, account) level and patient level using large datasets and descriptive analysisManage multiple concurrent projects ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and on-time delivery.Leadshape deliverables, presentations and insightsrecommendations to clients.Develop and maintain skills to the highest standards consistent with best practices and emerging trends in data science.Contribute to Axtria's development of new solutionsRequired Skills & Experience:Bachelor's Master's degree PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics or a related field with 4+ years of prior relevant work experience.Relevant expertise in managing & developing PatientEpidemiology based forecasting models for pharma clientsExpertise in secondary research analysis and managing the forecasting models and operationsStrong in excel, VBA & any having programming experience in any language to process and synthesize large datasetsAbility to structure and model the data to solve complex business problemsExperience in Pharma domain and familiarity with Commercial andor Medical use cases for advanced analyticsdata science.Familiarity with the key industry datasets such as sales data (IQVIA XPONENT, NPA, NSP, 867, and others) and most of all claims dataKnowledge and expertise in claims data (anonymized patient-level claims data) and EHR data is of specific interest for this role.Knowledge and prior work experience in one or more therapeutic areas esp. immunology, infectious disease, oncologyhematology, other specialty medicine or rare disease.Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate to a non-technical audience in clear and concise language.Proven ability to frame a business issue, design the right solution, and deliver results.Ability to lead projects and project teams.Exposure to experience working with large data sets (such as claims data).Location & Logistics:We are hiring for Thousand Oaks, CAU.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
