We are looking to add a full time associate veterinarian to our privately owned and operated, AAHA accredited, small animal hospital in Portland, OR. We want to make this your dream job! Do you have a passion for internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, acupuncture, exotic pets, or behavior? We would love if you have a particular interest in surgery, but whatever your passion is, we want to support you in your pursuits, including providing education and resources in the hospital. You will always leave on time, we will provide a full assistant staff to support you, and our staff is well-trained. Willing to mentor a new grad as well.Salary from $100k to $150k depending on experience. Four day work week for full-time. No on-call. Everything is negotiable depending on your needs. We offer PTO, health insurance, employee mental health program, and all CE and license fees are covered. Willing to consider relocation costs and potentially buying you out of you contract depending on the cost, just ask!QualificationsDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institutionCurrent and active license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of OregonExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a team of veterinary professionalsStrong organizational and time-management skillsExperience conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, and performing surgical proceduresFamiliarity with advanced laboratory and imaging diagnosticsExperience communicating effectively with pet owners about their pet's carePassion for providing high-quality veterinary care to pets and their ownersExperience in a small animal practice is preferredSpecial interest in surgery is preferred
