Today TruAmerica has over 60,000 units in 25 high growth markets and approximately $16 billion of assets under management.ObjectiveThis is a hybrid functionality"”the primary responsibility is supporting the asset management and operations of a large San Diego-based real estate portfolio, while the secondary responsibility is supporting the broader TruAmerica portfolio in a similar capacity, plus facilitating the company's disposition and refinancing platforms.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesTrack, analyze, forecast, and reforecast trends in financial performance and business plan execution.Develop and maintain property cash flow models, valuation models, and portfolio roll-ups.Utilize Business Intelligence platform dashboardsreports to monitor and drive operational performance.Support Asset Manager with data and analysis on high-visibility partner calls and interactionsPrepare financial reporting packages and presentation materials for senior management and partners on monthly, quarterly andor annual basis.Track and forecast capital projects and unit renovation progress and costs against the business plan to ensure delivery is on time and budget.Run holdsell and disposition analyses and assist the Asset Manager and Portfolio Management Team with dispositions and refinance requests across the portfolio.Facilitate the company's hedging activities and related analyses.Assist with analysis of property sectors, and real estate & economic trends. Complete ad hoc requests, special projects and additional duties as assignedAbilitiesUtilizing best judgement to meet targets and work under pressure.Strong multi-tasking skills and extreme attention to detailExcellent communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal.Highly organized self-starter with ability to take direction and follow-through.Ability to apply best practices to facilitate successful completion of projects.A sense of urgency, comfort with ambiguity, drive for results and ability to remain true to the company's brand and imageQualificationsSeeking an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in Business andor Real Estate2-4 years relevant experience; experience with multifamily real estate strongly preferredMust be proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
