Job Description:

Qualis Corporation is seeking a highly qualified Engineer with demonstrated qualifications and proven experience in Space Systems to include MILSATCOM, Global Positioning System, Directed Energy, or Electronic Warfare. This position will assist with test design, planning, execution data analysissystem characterization and associated reporting for operational test and evaluation. This position will be filled at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform analysis of the space system and subsystemsPerform analysis of test capabilitiesIdentify test capability requirementsIdentify test capability shortfallsDevelop test methodologies and toolsRecommend approaches to operational test and integrated developmental operational test activitiesProvide inputs to Space Force Test Delta in support of planning requirements and OT&E activitiesCollect and analyze data to assist in the evaluation of system readiness effectiveness suitability progress, and make recommendations to the test directorReview, analyze, and report to test director status of Systems Program Office, and developmental contractor's space systems documentationAssist in determining the capability of the system to withstand natural and man-made threat environments, and quantify the degree of impairmentAssist in preparing test documentation for inclusion in test and evaluation reportsAssist in the preparation of briefings or slides as part of the report coordination processAssist in the preparation of lessons learned reportsParticipate in Integrated Test TeamsRequirementsMust possess a bachelor's of science degree in a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) field. Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in the field of EngineeringBackground in operational testing highly desiredBackground in space systems, missile warning, satellite communications, global positioning system, directed energy, or electronic warfare highly desiredPosition requires practical application of:The methods and techniques of engineering or systems architectureThe construction, application, properties, operations, and limitations of engineering systems, processes, Ability to utilize Design of Experiments as it applies to test designMust be able to work in a fast paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlinesMust have the ability to quickly understand the customers' overall technical objectives and mission and provide effective solutionsMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilitiesMust be able to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a groupU.S. Citizenship requiredTravel: 15-20% travel requirementSecurity Clearance:Active DoD Top Secret security clearance required.
