Our mission is to empower children, adults, and families by providing transformational care.Position Summary:Our School Based Partial Hospital program offers intensive mental health and behavioral services that are designed to be embedded within educational programming. While the student is enrolled in our program, he or she receives individual, group and family therapy, as well as psychiatric support throughout the school day. We believe that family involvement is crucial to the student's success in our program and we work closely with a student's parents or caregivers to ensure that progress is made.The School Based Therapist works in the Deer Lakes School District to provide the behavioral health services and interventions necessary to maximize the school experience and academic potential of students identified.Position Requirements:EducationMaster's degree from an accredited university in social work, psychology, child development, psychiatric nursing, or related field.ExperienceOne year experience in a childadolescent behavioral health program preferred.School based partial hospitalization program experience is preferred.Safe physical management training experience is preferred.Licenses, Certifications & ClearancesValid PA professional license preferred: LCSW, LPC, or LMFTFBI criminal background clearancePA criminal and child abuse clearancesValid PA driver's licenseKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesUnderstanding of childadolescent development, family systems, and behavioral health diagnoses along with appropriate interventions.Ability to assess student needs and implement best practice standards through individual, family and group therapyConviction that people have the capacity to grow and change with commitment to empowering students under care to do so.Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundariesAbility to make evidence-based decisionsAbility to exhibit cultural sensitivity and to contribute to a work environment where diversity is welcomed and supportedComprehensive Benefits and Total Rewards Package:Medical, Dental, and Visions plans with low employee contribution ratesPTO DaysPaid Holidays401k Plan - Employer matchPaid mileage for traveling between client sites and officesTuition Reimbursement for continuing your educationLicensure Supervision for FREE!!!Pet InsuranceAND MORE!How to Apply:Candidates may apply via LinkedIn.
