The position of Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist calls for a licensed professional clinician with direct experience and skill in treating a range of behavioral health issues. The position requires an individual who is able to treat and be successful at assessing and treating co-occurring disorders including mental illness, personality disorders, and challenges in primary or secondary support systems. The position of Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist includes active engagement and coordination of care with internal resources including psychiatry and community support as well as external bodies including the legal system, families, and social support agencies.We are seeking compassionate and positive Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) to provide therapeutic support for service users with mental health, behavioral health and substance abuse issues.We are Offering a $2,000 Sign on Bonus!As a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist with RHA, your responsibilities will vary based on the groups you work with and the programs through which you provide services. In all activities, you will coordinate closely with the interdisciplinary team to best help service users, including behavioral health specialists, registered nurses, quality assurance specialists, paraprofessionals and the Clinical Director.Salary Range: $47,000 to $52,000 depending on licensure and experienceResponsibilitiesConducting clinical assessmentsRunning individual, family and group outpatient therapy sessionsConducting inpatient group therapy sessionsOrienting new service users to RHADeveloping person-centered plans for service usersOversee the discharge planning processFacilitating relationships between RHA, service user familieslegal guardians and various social service community resources, such as food stamp and housing assistance, healthcare, job training and placement and substance abuse support groupsEducation, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include: Must meet the requirements of a Licensed Clinical ProfessionalGraduate degree in Social Work or a related fieldValid licensure to provide mentalbehavioral healthcare in the state of North CarolinaMinimum 2 years experience working with individuals with mental andor behavioral health issues that include writing person-centered plans, conducting effective group therapy and providing mental health diagnosesGeneral working knowledge of the human services delivery system in North CarolinaValid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportationAbility to pass a drug screen and background checkAbility to lift between 20 and 50 pounds and meet the physical requirements of performing CPR and therapeutic holdsEmployee supervisory experience preferredExperience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred#INDBHPre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
