SFLA based or currently relocating candidates only please*****VP Financial OperationsExcellent opportunity for ambitious, business minded, finance leader with a well-rounded background in both Accounting and Finance. Leadership role managing the controllership function and related team, as well as taking the lead and preparation of all FP&A, budgeting and forecasting activities. This will include quarterly and ad hoc management reporting to Executive team and BOD. Will also be able to leverage business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit by working with executive team in evaluating potential new business partnerships, acquisitions, and outside additional funding. Lead finance role and adviser to President of this operating company, ultimately reporting up into, and working with and serving as a bridge to the larger corporate entity. In office role working with leadership team daily. Base, bonus, and equity eligible compensation available. Commensurate with candidate level and related industry experience. $250-300k +Oversight of all controllership functions and accounting operationsMonth-end and quarter-end close activityReview of financial statement and related presentation to HQOngoing consolidation of all financial data and related reportingCoordination, oversight, and liaison activities necessary to work through audit with external audit firmManage team of 5-7FP&A and Operational FinanceFinancial planning, analysis, budgeting and forecastingReview of financial operations for business unitsRolling forecast, Treasury support as neededReview of current and implementation of new KPI'sData analysisBoard deck preparation and presentationAcquisition support Integration of as neededIndustry related responsibilitiesMonitor and analyze performance of other industry competitorsIdentify coming trends and apply potential processproduct changes to enhance competitivenessWork with Servicing group to provide analysis on various loan portfoliosManagement and renewal of all business licenses necessary for state loan originationsWork with different departments to ensure compliance maintainedResearch, identify, and ultimately work with new funding partners and necessary agencies on due diligence requestsOngoing review of company policies and procedures with executive team and improving modifying as necessaryREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's in Accounting and or FinanceCPA (pref if Finance or other degree) and or MBA12-15+ years corporate accounting & finance experience in a small to mid-size businessPrior experience serving in a Controller type roleFP&A background, KPI and Deck preparationFinancial Services industry experience preferred (exact sector discussed with selected candidates) Loan accounting ServicingWell-rounded, business-minded, and entrepreneurial - This is a business partner and advisory role supporting a smaller OpCo of larger corporate entity
