As we expand our operations and venture into new markets with company-owned and franchised locations, we are seeking a skilled Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to join our team and play a vital role in elevating our supply chain processes.Job Description:The Supply Chain and Logistics Manager will oversee all aspects of the supply chain and logistics operations. Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain and Logistics, this role will be instrumental in enhancing The French Workshop experience by managing importing, inventory control, forecasting, day-to-day supplier management, and all other supply chain functions. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in international ocean freight and a passion for championing and evolving efficient processes.Responsibilities:Manage the importation process for products, including coordinating international ocean freight shipments and customs clearance.Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels across all shops daily, weekly and monthly.Work with operations to conduct forecasting analysis to anticipate demand and ensure adequate inventory levels to meet customer needs.Oversee day-to-day supplier management activities, including vendor communication, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline supply chain processes and improve efficiency.Lead the creation and evolution of efficient supply chain processes to enhance The French Workshop experience and support business growth.Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management or demand planning with a focus on international logistics and ocean freight.Strong understanding of importexport regulations and customs procedures.Proficiency with Excel, Google Suite, inventory management software like MarketMan, and forecasting tools.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.Requirements: Able to work full-time and onsite: five days a week, eight-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for holidays and weekends as necessary.Reliable transportation for commuting to our headquarters in Bayside, New fortable with regular travel between all shops in Queens and Long Island.Benefits:Full coverage benefits (health, vision, dental)2 weeks of Paid Time Off
