In this role, you will perform professional accounting work involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data. You will be directly responsible for preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, and the preparation and review of financial reports. Areas of responsibility require some interpretationdecision-making and are of increasing complexity. Areas are managed with minimal oversight of a more experienced team member.How You'll Make a DifferenceSolid understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and applicable local regulatory frameworksAbility to take ownership of business area including managing work and identifying issues for escalationPerform monthly consolidation and translation process using the company's consolidation toolReview intercompany eliminations and work with other business areas to correct any discrepanciesPrepare monthly financial reporting packages for leadershipCompile journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accountsFacilitate balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysisExecute monthly and quarterly internal controls related to the close and consolidation processDevelop and implement process improvement initiatives related to the close and consolidation processSupport internal and external auditsWhat You'll Need to SucceedBachelor's degree (B.A.B.S.) in accounting or equivalentCPA preferredMust be proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Must have solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitaskExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external customersExperience with ERP or accounting systemsExperience with SAP S4 Hana Group Reporting is preferredMinimum of four years of relevant experience with coaching and development experience is preferredPublic accounting Big 4 experience is preferredMust be authorized to work in the U.S.We Take Care of the WHOLE YouHealth insurance plans (medical, dental, vision)HSA and flexible spending accounts401(k)Incentive opportunity*Life insuranceShort and long-term disability insurancePaid vacation and holidays*Employee Assistance ProgramValvoline Instant Oil Change discountsTuition reimbursement*Adoption assistance* *Terms and conditions apply, and benefits may differ depending on position.
