Lazarus Naturals is seeking a Mixer Operator for our 1st shift in the Consumer Goods industry. As a Mixer Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. At Lazarus Naturals, we are passionate about doing the right thing well.ResponsibilitiesOperate mixing equipment to prepare raw materials for productionFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines during the mixing processMeasure and weigh ingredients accurately for each batchMonitor mixing parameters such as temperature, speed, and time to ensure consistent qualityConduct quality checks on the mixed products to ensure they meet specificationsClean and maintain mixing equipment and work area in accordance with sanitation standardsDocument and record batch information, including quantities of ingredients used and batch numbersRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience as a mixer operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment preferredKnowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Ability to read and follow recipes, work instructions, and batch recordsStrong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurementsBasic understanding of math and computer skills for recording batch informationAbility to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 poundsBenefitsComprehensive benefits (medical, vision, and dental insurance)Employee discount programFully stocked kitchen401K planFSA & commuter benefitsEmployee development opportunitiesCompany eventsThis is a full-time role based in Portland, OR.
