Job Description:

The Product Development and Sourcing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the product development, sourcing, and supplier management activities. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in these areas and be proficient in speaking and writing in Chinese languages to effectively communicate with local suppliers and manufacturers.Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for global sourcing operations, collaborating with cross-functional partners at overseas offices and vendors.Utilize negotiation and costing skills to achieve financial targets for the designated product category.Maintain and update product costs, while effectively communicating with overseas offices regarding costing options.Coordinate tasks to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality products.Monitor and expedite sample development progress.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, merchandisers, and engineers, to develop innovative and high-quality home textile products.Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and capacity to meet production requirements.Work closely with suppliers to achieve optimal cost and quality outcomes.Requirements:Proven experience as a Product Development and Sourcing Manager in the home textile category.Proficiency in speaking and writing in Chinese languages to effectively communicate with local suppliers.Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.Experience with content, product, and inventory management.Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).Exceptional organizational skills, including planning, prioritizing, managing multiple tasks, and meeting corporate deadlines.Experience working with mass retailers such as Target, TJ Maxx, Costco, Walmart.
