We only work with adults, and 100% of our clients are neurodivergent. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, contract position located in Kernersville, NC, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Mental Health Therapist at Dunleavy Family Therapy, PLLC, you will be responsible for providing mental health counseling to autistic adults and their family systems. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health goals. As part of a team of mental health professionals, you will also collaborate with colleagues and participate in ongoing professional development and training.QualificationsMaster's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related fieldLicensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent licensecertificationExperience in providing individual and group therapy, specifically in trauma, ADHD, andor ASD adultsInterest in providing counseling and therapy to adult autistic populations with a range of mental health concernsFamiliarity with evidence-based treatments and interventions for a variety of mental health conditions, especially those co-occurring with autism.Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional developmentExperience with tele-therapy and remote counseling is a plusStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelinesExperience working with diverse populationsStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in electronic health record systemsDesire to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environmentBilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
