Our products have been deployed in every extreme environment on Earth!We are looking for an exceptional Research Scientist to join our Emerging Technologies team. This team works on cutting-edge optical sensor research involving innovative design, selection, and implementation of emerging optoelectronic components, as well as system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.As part of the team, you will work alongside other experienced scientists and engineers to develop novel, cutting-edge solutions to several challenging problems. Understanding and experience with UVVISIR active and passive components, optical, opto-mechanical, and opto-electronic system design, image processing, EOIR sensors, night vision devices are desired. This is a hands-on research and development position with some project management responsibilities.Responsibilities:Technical Design & Development:Lead the creation of new concepts and architecture design, development, and implementation activities related to optical sensor and optical imaging systems development including performance simulation, field prototyping, and testing.Apply experience in the use of modern programming, modeling, and simulation tools to help develop new technologies.
