Job Description:

The Director of Loss Control and Risk Management is responsible for providing risk management and loss control expertise and services to Commercial Lines P&C insureds, BKCW personnel, and prospective clients. This candidate will have the responsibility for evaluating, developing, coordinating, and implementing the specific functions of the department.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide leadership, direction and organization related to all loss control services in support of the insured.Develop relationships with clients and assist in establishing, implementing, and completing long-term controlrisk management goals.Manage and coordinate loss control services between the client and the insurance carrier(s) to maximize loss control services customized to meet the clients' specific anize joint efforts of client, Agency and the insurer to analyze, implement and monitor safety, fleet and risk protection issues.Establish loss control service protocols that ensure maximum performance and uniformity of process as well as any special handling procedures.Conduct, coordinate andor participate in periodic claims andor loss control reviews.Conduct comprehensive audits of potential risks and overall safety at facilities, job sites or projects as necessary.Maintain current knowledge and information relating to new health and safety tools, processes, policies and specific requirements imposed by government agencies.Create andor update client safety manuals.Analyze statistical data pertaining to client accident and incident activity and assist the client in implementing programs and procedures to resolve the problem(s).Present to prospective clients in the possible implementation of improvements for safety and health tools, processes, policies and training.Keep current First Aid training.Capable of travelling, both overnight and multi-day trips.Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Minimum 5-10 years industry loss controlsafety experience preferredFSR DesignationBachelor's Degree is preferredContinuing Education courses after licensed as CSP or (ASP working toward CSP designation) such as ARM, CPCU, CUSA, CSHEM, CIH, ALCM etc.Prior Agency claims experience preferredKnowledge of OSHA requirements is requiredPrevious DOT knowledge and compliance experience is requiredPrior experience in the oil and gas industry, fleet safety, construction safety or manufacturingSKILLS & ABILITIES:Great lead project management Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with quick and accurate aptitude to learn new systemsExceptional relationship and development skills and interpersonal skillsAbility to work with others on a teamAbility to communicate in person, writing and verbally with clientsBENEFITS:Comprehensive Health Insurance with Employer Paid Premium and HSA, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Accident and Critical Illness Insurance, Employee Assistance Program, TelemedicineHealth Care Program401(k) MatchingWellness Program with IncentivesCompetitive SalariesFlex TimeAnnual, Service, and Referral BonusesPaid Education and training with bonuses for industry certificationsPaid day off to volunteer in the communityHigher education scholarships for members and their childrenCommission reimbursement for employee's personal insurance through BKCWGenerous Paid Time Off program13 additional Paid Holidays per yearPaid Long Term DisabilityCompany Social and Community Service EventsFamily First Organization
