Job Title: Technical Accounts Manager, Live Cell ImagingManager: Vice President of Sales and MarketingTerritory: New EnglandCompensation: Salary of $100,000 to $150,000 commensurate with experience, track-record, education and location; uncapped variable compensation (commissions & incentives), significant equity options, and excellent benefits.----------Position Description:Responsible for Thrive Bioscience's sales activities in the New England region of the U.S., with the opportunity for accounts outside the territory. This job focuses on the development of new accounts for Thrive's innovative products for live cell imaging. It requires a passion to improve our customers' research, strong prospecting, and excellent selling skills. The position's principal responsibilities include:Develop a robust product pipeline by identifying and cultivating new accountsEstablish strong customer relationshipsAchieveexceed sales targetsGain a strong technical understanding of customer requirements and applications aDisciplined CRM compliance for prospect entries, forecasting, wonlost performance, and overall analysis of the territory sales funnelEffectively provide demonstrations of the instruments, make compelling presentations and be able to communicate with researchers and managersAbility to travel up to 50% for trade shows, customer visits, and company meetingsRequired Qualifications:Experience and ability selling newly introduced, innovative instruments and finding customers for those productsStrong life sciences background so that can learn and effectively communicate technical information and respond to product and applications questionsStrong experience in cell biology, cell culture andor live cell imaging5+ years of instrument sales experienceProven track record of meetingexceeding sales targetsAbility to utilize a consultative sales approach to develop and close opportunitiesHighly motivated, self-starter who can work in an early-stage companyWilling to travel as needed to maximize customer and company exposureSkilled in providing product demonstrations, video conferencing, cold calling, and using CRMs, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and WordDesired Qualifications:Experience selling instruments with significant software contentDemonstrated performance in meeting sales objectives and a strong commitment to the customerAdvanced degree in life sciences or in the sciences is a strong plusWell networked in life sciencebiotech research communityExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalCompleterfinisher with resilience to ensure a desirable outcome is always achievedAbout Thrive Bioscience:Thrive Bioscience (), located in the Greater Boston Area, manufactures and sells to researchers a family of products and extensive software that provide previously unavailable automated live cell imaging, analytics, and automation for basic research, drug discoverydevelopment, and cell-based medicine.
