One of the many services that Cresset provides involves managing portfolios for individualsfamilies and their related businesses or charitable entities. Experience with trading and using custodial platforms and order managementportfolio rebalancing systems is preferred.Responsibilities include:Investment Operations SupportDevelop an understanding of the firm's investment platform and portfolio managementUtilize technological skills to effectively problem solve, drive operational efficiency, improve processes, ensure accuracy, and elevate client valueAssist with department controls and compliance reportingAssist in troubleshooting issues related to trading, portfolio management, investments, etc. Assist with data management of trading and rebalancing platform, and related technologyProactive and timely communicationTradingAccurate and timely execution of incoming trade requests submitted by advisorsDevelop a comprehensive understanding of trading strategies for a multitude of asset types, including but not limited to equities, mutual funds, interval funds, fixed income, options, etc.Post-trade reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerProblem solve and quickly correct trade issues, including errors, allocation or settlement issues and initiating trade corrections as needed to minimize market risk Assist and train advisors on tools related to trading and rebalancing platform In addition to these core responsibilities, the Associate, Investment Operations & Trading may also be involved in supporting key initiatives, ad hoc projects, and other efforts at both the department and firm level. It is critical that the Associate, Investment Operations & Trading possess strong communication skills, be self-motivated, comfortable juggling multiple tasks and priorities, capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is eager to foster and deepen relationships in order for Cresset to best serve its clients and continue to grow as successfully as it has since its inception.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance, or related field1-2 years of experience in wealth management preferredExperience trading equities is requiredExtremely high attention to detail & analytical thinker with the ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiencyExceptional organizational and time management skillsStrong math skills Excellent communication skills, both written and oralProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel advanced functions including Pivot Tables, vLookups, etc., Experience with Power BI a plusExperience with Addepar, RedBlack, and Salesforce a plusStrong focus on continuous process improvement, including innovating, adopting, and leading best practicesAbility to learn and adapt to new technology Cultivate a strong investment and wealth management knowledge base across public and private marketsDemonstrated passion for delivering exceptional client serviceMust be a team player willing to contribute in a variety of ways to advisor teams and the broader Cresset teamAbility to develop and maintain collaborative relationships internally and externally with custodian partners and technology vendorsAbility to exercise judgment in managing confidential or sensitive informationComply with all client, firm, and regulatory requirementsHigh degree of professionalism and flexibility and able to perform successfully in a service-oriented, fast-paced, high-growth and frequently changing environment and aligned with Cresset's values and cultureWhat We OfferAt Cresset, we focus on people first.
