Summary of Position The Senior Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company. They play a crucial role in managing the financial health of the organization and providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team. This position must have outstanding communication skills, both in verbal and written forms, to develop strong relationships and implement effective solutions. Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to drive decision-making. Oversees the quarterly forecasting and annual financial planning of field related expenses and the monthly and quarterly variance to plan, forecast and PYFinancial Reporting: Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings. Providing financial information to internal stakeholders and external auditors.Cash Flow Management: Monitoring and managing the company's cash flow, including cash forecasting, working capital management, and optimizing cash utilization.Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk. Implementing internal controls and compliance procedures to safeguard the company's assets.Strategic Planning: Collaborating with the executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic initiatives. Evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial due diligence, and providing financial insights for decision-making.Financial Operations: Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, tax compliance, and financial systems. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Team Leadership: Managing and developing a high-performing finance team. Providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Field Business Partner: Delivers monthly and quarterly overview of financial and operational performance. Leads the development of the annual unit level plans in partnership with the field. Provides financial business acumen training to key partners in the field. Oversees the financial support provided to operations in the development and implementation of operations enhancing and cost saving initiatives.Requirements & Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Senior Director of Finance position should have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a deep understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. They should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as they will be working closely with cross-functional teams and senior executives.A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required for this role, and many organizations prefer candidates with a master's degree or professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).Overall, the Director of Finance plays a critical role in driving the financial success of the company and ensuring its long-term sustainability.Must be based in Orlando, Florida
