The firm employs approximately 100 employees globally and manages more than $7.0 billion in assets as of 123123.Position OverviewThe Head of North American Investor Partners will be responsible for leading the North America Investor Partnerships team with the goal of driving investor growth in the region. This individual will serve as the lead strategist and executor of the distribution effort across North America for existing and prospective investors. This individual will function in as both playercoach by (i) raising capital directly from hisher own coverage universe while (ii) managing a team of regionally based Investor Partnership individuals and helping the team drive investor commitments.We are seeking to recruit an experienced professional with managerial experience leading and mentoring a growing team, direct LP and consultant relationships, a proven track record of client management and capital raising in the private markets, and the ability to effectively communicate an investment strategy to prospective and existing investors with the goal of raising capital. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Investor Relations, and have the following core set of responsibilities:Primary ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership:Develop and execute overall marketing effort across North America, which may differ by regionLead efforts to cultivate new investor relationships and drive commitments across different investor types and regions of North AmericaDetermine annual performance goals for both team and underlying team membersIdentify and develop investment solutions for clients, liaising with the Head of Investor Relations and leveraging the product specialist team and other internal resourcesEnsure that appropriate messaging, product information and client management are being delivered to investorsBuild internal relationships to promote strong collaboration and be well-positioned for new opportunities on the client sideInvestor Prospecting:Develop and help build new prospective investor targets for specified east coast region in U.S., including but not limited to: pensions, endowments, insurance companies, RIAs, family offices, endowments, foundations, fund of funds, asset managers and consultantsLeverage existing client relationships that would be a suitable fit for firm and strategyGenerate and help manage pipeline of prospective investorsArrange introductory calls andor meetings with prospective investorsTrack and help manage prospective investor follow-upMarketing and Communication:Develop an in-depth understanding of the firm, its history, professionals, culture, investment strategy and process, products, track record, portfolios and existing client base and successfully communicate to prospective investorsDevelop a thorough understanding of the marketplace and competitive landscape and successfully communicate to prospective investorsEffectively advocate for the firm articulating its market position, competitive advantages, and value proposition to prospective investorsLead initial presentations to prospective investors independently andor with senior team membersRelationship Management:Manage ongoing list of outstanding investor inquires, due diligence requests, RFPs and other follow-up, and work with investor relations team to ensure timely responsesTrack all prospective investor progress in Client Relationship Management (CRM) system Performance and Personal CompetenciesSuccess building and leading distribution team:Proven leader with experience managing a team, hiring and developing talent and assessing performanceAble to be strategic and think creatively in order to develop and implement a marketing business planEstablished and strong institutional investor relationships:Solid reputation within the LP and Consultant communitiesStrong track record of advising institutional investor service expectationsMarket and Product Knowledge:Strong knowledge of the credit marketsSufficient experience with credit-oriented strategies (individual will be expected to become quickly
