LaSalle Network has partnered with an industrial distribution and manufacturing company located in the Philadelphia metro area. They are immediately seeking a Logistics Manager to work in the company headquarters. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for developing, executing and administering the department's transportation strategies and activities. This is a hybrid position, with 2 days working from home each week. Logistics Manager Responsibilities:Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency, minimize costs and meet customer demandsPlan, organize and supervise transportation activities, including scheduling, routing and dispatching of trucks, railcars and other modes of transportationDevelop and Track Transportation KPIs. Own carrier KPIs, develop strategies for service improvements and processes for non-performing carriersMaintain carrier and driver service, delivery times, transport costs and efficiencyPartner with Inventory team to maximize truck utilization and balance costsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements governing the transportation of hazardous materials, including DOT, EPA and OSHA regulationsMonitor transportation performance metrics, analyze data and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality Logistics Manager Requirements:Bachelor's degree in supply chain or operations preferred5+ years proven experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory roleExperience with KPI's and structured reportingExcellent organizational, problem solving and strategic thinking skills If you are interested in this position and meet the qualifications above, please apply today!
