The SASS Supervisor shall perform supervisory duties that ensure the quality of clinical work and empower staff to advance to further levels of competency. He or she shall train clinical staff to provide crisis intervention services and pre-screening to children, adolescents, and adults in crisis, with the goal of immediate symptom reduction, stabilization and restoration to a previous level of addition, they shall work to develop relationships with DCFS and DMH funded agencies, and other mental health service providers throughout the north and west sides of Chicago and suburbs. The SASS Supervisor shall articulate C4s mission and vision.The Supervisors primary work location shall be in an office setting at one of C4s locations. However, they shall also work at Chicago area hospitals and out in the community, primarily to provide onsite training and address staffing shortages. They shall provide on-call staffing coverage, which might include certain weekends, some overnight shifts, and occasional holidays. Work may be stressful due to consumer behaviors, periods of high call volume, or tight deadlines.What youll do:Train and supervises employees to procedures and clinical functionsDirect and oversees direct reports in crisis intervention services to individuals in crisis, with the goal of immediate symptom reduction and restoration to a previous level of functioningSchedule employees to provide adequate coverageEnsure documentation quality, completion and compliance at all times, as well as monitor timelines and agency policies and procedures according to C4s guidelinesEnsure compliance with all applicable laws and accreditation requirements related to service delivery policies, practices, and reporting standardsIs responsible for performance feedback and formal evaluation, and disciplinary action in consultation with direct supervisorDevelop, coach, guide, and determine individual performance expectations for direct reportsMonitor, manage, and is accountable for productivity goal and concerns of direct reportsInitiate, cultivate and maintain professional relationships within C4 to enhance communications, support, and service alignmentMaintain compliance with confidentiality policies and procedures at all timesMaintain positive and mutually respectful relationships with other human service providers, entitlement agencies, health care vendors, and the communityAssist with outcome measuresAttend clinical meetings and trainingsOther duties as assigned by supervisorWhat we offer:Competitive salary based upon relevant education and licensureComprehensive benefits package including healthcare insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and 403(b) plan (no match).National Health Service Corp (NHSC) loan forgiveness for qualifying cliniciansOur ideal candidate:Education and ExperienceMAMS in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is requiredLCSW or LCPC requiredAt least 5 years of crisis intervention services required, with increasing levels of clinical responsibilities and supervisory dutiesExperience in counseling children and adolescents is required.
