As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing clinical assessment, individual and family therapy related to child abuse issues for children, adolescents, non-offending adults, and families. You will also facilitate psychoeducational groups for non-offending guardians, caretakers, and adolescents. Focus: Conduct clinical assessments and providing therapy to children, adolescents, non-offending adults, and families dealing with child abuse issues. Facilitate psychoeducational groups for non-offending guardians, caretakers, and adolescents. Maintain accurate and confidential client files in accordance with OBHL, center policies, and forensic standards. Participate in weekly supervision sessions to discuss cases, treatment goals, and intervention strategies. Coordinate services with a multidisciplinary team, including law enforcement, CPS, medical staff, and forensic interviewers. Provide court testimony when necessary. Represent the organization through speaking engagements, educational opportunities, and public appearances. Participate in center-based self-care and team-building activities. Carrying out other assigned duties.Skill Set: Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work. Independent license as a LPC or LCSW. Experience working with children with complex trauma issues. Ability to be a productive collaborative team member. Passion for helping clients while maintaining a healthy worklife balance. Bilingual in EnglishSpanish preferred. Good understanding of clinical diagnoses and evidence-based interventions for mental health conditions.
