Greenpoint Psychotherapy is a female owned, holistically minded practice that uses and anti-oppressive lens. We function on the premise that by allowing ourselves to accept and experience our emotions, we will increase assertive behavior leading to increased alignment between our external and inner selves.We help clients with exploring how their past relationships and experiences continue to impact their present life, through identifying and changing thought patterns that have become unnecessarily negative or rigid, and learning to use difficult or painful experiences to gain more insight about themselves. Overall we endeavor to help clients with moving forward with kindness and compassion, rather than fear.We use an integration of psychodynamic, relational, CBT, yoga, buddhism, depth, art, somatic, integrative and mindfulness interventions to help clients to develop more of the characteristics they would like for themselves and improve communication. We are able to provide support and psycho-education for many problems, but especially in the areas of trauma, life-change events, communication, and codependency.We are seeking competent partially licensed psychotherapists with expertise and experience in providing mental health services. Ideal candidates will be eligible for licensure. Preferred candidates practice yoga, meditation or another form of a spiritual, or mindful practice.Responsibilities:Assigned a caseload with support of admin, but maintains own pletes intake evaluations.Documents each sessions by means of progress notes and maintains treatment plans.Performs all duties in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health and federal regulations.Other related tasks that may be assigned.The right candidate for Greenpoint Psychotherapy:Is aware of the importance of self care and healthy boundaries.Values healthy, open communication and direct conflict resolution.Is willing to participate in supervisionmentorship meetings to ensure congruence of vision, values, work fulfillment and the utmost excellence in client care.Can maintain a minimum of 28 sessions per week.Provides session notes for each session and treatment plans every 6 municates with outside professionals in the best interest and care of the client as deemed necessary and provide resources andor referrals when appropriate.Upholds the highest standards of ethical practice and HIPAA compliance.Requirements:Must be eligible for licensure: MHC-LP, CAT-LP, LMSWPossess current individual Professional Liability Coverage.Must be able to provide a minimum of 28 client hours per week.Two year commitment to working in our practice privately.Positive energyoutlook.Must have experience and a passion for being a therapist.Must be creative and committed to continuing to develop as a therapist.At least one year of experience in providing individual, couples, multiple partner andor family therapy.Provide direct care for individuals, couples, groups andor familiesPrepare appropriate documentation: therapy notes, treatment plans, letters, municate effectively with referral sources in a timely fashionExperience working with youth, adults, couples, and familiesAbility to work individually and as a teamEducation: Master's (Required)We will provide you with:HIPAA compliant paperless electronic medical record to streamline scheduling, notes, treatment planning and client correspondence.An atmosphere in which as a therapist you can feel taken care of, respected and valued.Flexible schedule.Professional development assistance.Highly competitive compensation ranging from $50.00-$90.00 per session for individual or partner sessions.Quiet, comfortable office.Management of billing.Job Type: Full-time | Salary: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour Benefits:Multiple levels of training and support through onboarding process.401(k) available from start of employment.401(k) becomes matching after a year of employment.Paid time off.Sick Pay.Weekly Supervision for licensure.UnemploymentDisabilityWorker's Compensation.Additional clinical support meetings for administrative and clinical support.Therapists are paid an hourly wage for attending administrativeclinical meetings.Yearly Bonus that is calculated related to amount of clients seen.Schedule:Eight hour shift | four days a week plus admin meetings on Fridays.Evening or weekend availability.Therapists & Counselors: 1 year (Required)Expected hours: No less than 30 per weekPlease Apply here:
