We promote an inclusive work environment that creates feel-good moments for everyone.Job DescriptionThe Finance Payroll Lead is responsible for the strategy, design, and delivery of a global Payroll transformation program to build a sustainable Payroll delivery model across people, process, and technology to manage the work at a global scale.The Payroll Lead will partner with key Finance, HR, IT, Market Leaders and other stakeholders to determine Payroll transformation timelines, scope, processes, and requirements across markets to ensure the transformation delivers the right functionality & operations to drive business objectives.ResponsibilitesDefine & oversee Payroll transformation program roadmap and program plan, integrating closely with ongoing functional transformation initiatives (e.g., HR, Finance)Manage overall Payroll transformation team, spanning McDonald's and third-party support resourcesDefine and socialize the future state global payroll operating model strategy with Market, Finance, and HR leadersFacilitate sourcing discussions related to future state Payroll delivery & technology solutionsOversee design of leading practice Payroll processes to meet McDonald's business needsPartner with key Finance, IT, HR, and business stakeholders to document business & technical requirements to implement Payroll technology solutions that enable leading practice processesSupport the efforts with IT teams to ensure efficient Payroll system integration between the core Finance & HR systemsServe as the solutions expert and coordinate with the project team during key phases of the programWork closely with the key stakeholders to identify Payroll reportinganalytics needs to develop and enhanced capabilities as neededSupport definition of change management plan specific to Payroll transformationConduct regular review of the Payroll solution and its ability to meet business needs and facilitate effective and efficient Payroll processesSupport in identification, escalation, and mitigation of program risks, partnering with other functional teams to resolve cross-functional dependenciesQualifications10+ years with demonstrated experience deploying Payroll processes, operating models, and systems in large multinational organizationsAbility to effectively communicate and work with management both within and outside of FinanceAbility to develop maintain strong business relationships with executive leadersStrong communication, presentation, and influencing skillsStrong knowledge of Payroll solutions to identify areas for optimizationExcellent listening, verbal, and written communication skillsProven project management experience; ability to balance multiple initiatives and project timelines and prioritize responsibilitiesAbility to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-trainingAdditional InformationMcDonald's is an equal opportunity employer committed to the diversity of our workforce.
