Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Job Description:Identify opportunities and inefficiencies in charge capture processes; oversee improvement initiatives in collaboration with CMOs, CMIOs and other clinical department leadership to reduce manual touches, identify Epic build opportunities, and improve revenue capture.Direct ongoing maintenance of Charge Description Master (CDM) to minimize compliance risk and ensure integrity in reimbursement. Oversee CDM vendor engagement to optimize H+H CDM health and meet industry standards. Monitors vendor activities, including meeting and training with various H+H internal departments to improve performance across the system, and evaluates vendor performance. Manages system-wide initiatives to identify, investigate, and capture revenue opportunities in specialty billing areas such as Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, Collaborative Care, Integrated Behavioral Health, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Women's Health. Coordinates with clinicians and HIM, necessary automations in EPIC to optimize charge capture and reduce denials, while eliminating compliance vestigate high volume charging and billing error work queues, such as late charges, miscellaneous labs, missing HCPCS codes, etc. for process improvement opportunities.Correlates efforts to optimize behavioral health coding and billing across all the acute facilities and FQHC locations at NYC H+H. Coordinate behavioral health revenue initiatives by partnering with clinical department heads and advising on revenue improvement opportunities specific to their service delivery programs. Oversee and manage H+H SPARCS process to ensure compliance with data reporting requirements. Design and implement monitoring tools - dashboards and other reports that provide visual representation of data for ease of useall Other duties as neededMinimum Qualifications:1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field; and, 2. Eight (8) years of related experience in responsible professional and administrative levels involving accounting systems, receivables and payables, collections, reporting systems coordination of departmental activities, evaluation of operating procedures, control of work flow with at least five (5) years experience at a responsible level of management; or, 3. A Master's Degree with a major in the fields listed in paragraph 1 above and seven (7) years of related experience as indicated in paragraph 2; or, 4.
