Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Job DescriptionPurpose of Position:Performs medically prescribed ultrasound procedures.Job Responsibilities: - Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's Service Standards and incorporates them into the performance of duties.- Demonstrates knowledge of the hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to radiology.- Effectively assess patient's information and status, and follows appropriate procedure(s) accordingly.- Independently implements patients' procedures in accordance with department protocols and standards.- Demonstrates skill in equipment set-up, utilization and proper maintenance procedure.- Directs and monitors student clinical training.- Performs all duties and tasks assigned by Supervisor andor Designee.Minimum Qualifications1. Valid certification in Sonography issued by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); and2.
