Job Description:

Selby Jennings has been engaged by a top-tier Austin, Texas private credit firm to find a Vice President to join their deal team. This firm employs a generalist approach to invest across a wide variety of sectors including industrials, technology, healthcare, and consumerretail. This person will be able to work the deal processes cradle to grave as well as execute any deals that they source.This is an opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in Austin, serve as the main deal quarterback, and have exposure to senior management on processes such as sourcing and origination.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree required (must have an exceptional record of academic achievement) and a GPA over 3.5, SATACT scores required2+ years of IB experience + ~3 years of buyside experience (Private Credit experience, specifically working on non-sponsored deals required)Strong modeling, analytical, valuation, and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to key internalexternal stakeholders Responsibilities:Perform companyindustry due diligenceMonitor existing portfolio companies, evaluating platform and add-on acquisitions as well as potential exit opportunitiesConduct financial modelinganalysis incorporating various business projectionscapital structuresAssist the team with ad hoc project
