Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Greeter Receptionist to manage their front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for this vibrant company. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls and directing individuals where to go for their office visits. Ultimately, a Receptionist's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant, outgoing personality, as this is also a customer service role. Multitasking skills and a vibrant personality are essential for this position. The Receptionist's duties include offering administrative support across the organization, as needed but you will be "the face of the organization". Responsibilities:Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriatelyDirect visitors to the appropriate person and officeAnswer, screen and forward incoming phone callsCoordinating company outings (concerts, sporting events, restaurants, etc.)Scheduling inhouse corporate events (guest speakers, happy hours, lunches, etc.) Ensure reception area is tidy and presentableOversee the issuing of corporate badgesProvide basic and accurate information in-person and via phoneemailReceive, sort and distribute daily maildeliveriesMaintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stockUpdate calendars and schedule meetingsArrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchersPerform other clerical receptionist duties as neededRequirements and skills:Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, Hostess or similar roleProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteProfessional attitude and appearanceSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseExcellent organizational skillsMultitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksCustomer service attitudeHigh school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
