Job Description:

Position: Registered Nurse (Oncology)Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)Location:Wilmington, NC Duration: 13 weeks Description: This position requires administering chemotherapy and caring for high acuity adult and geriatric patients with various medical-surgical diagnoses. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience, BLS certification, and chemotherapy administration certification (ONC cert preferred but not required for travelers). Charge nurse experience and CPI certification preferred.Responsibilities:Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy via IV, PO, or injectionProvide care for patients with diagnoses such as DKA, AKI, sepsis, cancer, septic shock, pain management, overdose, malignant neoplasms, ARF, encephalopathy, FTT, and diabetic foot ulcersMaintain patient ratios of 1:6-7Utilize unit systems including PYXIS for medication, EPIC for documentation, and SBAR for communication
