Our exceptional clinicians also work closely with the 60+ members of the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine, top experts in their respective fields who are available for rapid consults, support, and referrals.Assist Cardiologists with Stress tests, stress echo, echo, metabolic stress tests, and coronary CTA.Vital signs, including exercise blood pressure, serial fingerstick lactate measurements, ECGBrief history to make sure the patient has no contraindication to stress testEnter demographic data into the stress test and metabolic test equipmentAssist in coronary CTA and administer medications as indicated following protocolEducate and prepare the patient the day before the procedureCall patient the day after the procedure to make sure they are doing wellAssist Cardiologists with Member ConsultationsAccompany cardiologist to visitPrepare notes for the cardiologist to review and signPend prescriptions under the direction of the cardiologistGather progress notes, lab and imaging results in preparation for the visitCollaborate with the Cardiac Nurse PractitionerOther ResponsibilitiesUnder instruction by the cardiologist or cardiac nurse practitioner, call patients back with test results once the plan is determined and you are instructed to call the patient backPrior Authorization of Cardiac MedicationsSalary range: $120,000 - $140,000This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.RequirementsRequirementsCurrent ACLS and BCLS certifications2 years stress test experienceAble to recognize cardiac arrhythmias such as ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, SVT and atrial flutter and fibrillationPrefer CCU, ICU, Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology experienceDaily check of the motion lab defibrillator and crash cart and documentation of the findingsIV and phlebotomy skillsAtria requires all employees conducting in person work at its offices to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit proof of vaccination before their start date.
