We can't wait to connect with you!Essential Responsibilities:Bring innovative, high quality urgent and primary care to patients of all ages in underserved communitiesPerform physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret labs, prescribe medication, provide patient education, and appropriately document all relevant information in EMRPerform examinations for workers' comp, occupational medicine, DOT, sports, wellness, and pre-employment screeningsProvide flexible and adaptive care so as to not have to turn away patients before exhausting reasonable treatment optionsExcellent communicator to both patients and staffWork autonomously as a provider and work alongside nurses, x-ray technicians, and front office specialists to provide the best possible patient careProvide leadership, direction, and assistance to team members as needed. Monitors completion of staff's daily follow-up calls to monitor patient progressAbility to use judgement to determine when to consult supervising physicianWorks with manager and other operational team members to ensure consistency with medical policy and professional standardsSupports and engages in projects and activities which will develop or improve services delivered at the clinicHave a least one year of FNP experience andor emergency care experience as an RNPerform other duties as assignedSkills and Certifications Required:One year of FNP experience or emergency care experience as an RNExperience treating pediatrics preferredAbility to work independently and autonomouslyActive Iowa Nurse Practitioner state licenseActive DEA LicenseDOT Physical CertificationBLS, ACLS, and PALSWhat We Offer:Work Life Balance and Flexible Schedule: At QuickVisit, your full-time schedule will give you flexibility of working 3 or 4 days a week. Our 12-hour shifts allow flexibility and more days you can spend at home! Full time team members accrue a generous amount of paid time off your first year. After working with us for a full year, you're awarded an additional 5 days for Continued Medical Education along with a stipend for the CME. We're closed on most major holidays to allow you to have time with your family. After a year vested with the organization, a 100% employer paid week of parental leave is covered.
