Our exceptional clinicians also work closely with the 60+ members of the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine, top experts in their respective fields who are available for rapid consults, support, and referrals.Essential Job Duties:We are looking for a primary care physician assistant or nurse practitioner to assist in after hours triage for our primary care practice and multispecialty groupThe ideal candidate will have a background in primary care, urgent care or emergency medicine and be confident in triaging calls from our members for urgent care requests in the evening and after hours time frameWe are hoping that this candidate will work from the office from 6-10p and then complete their shift working from home to answer calls that may come inWhile most expected shifts will entail only telemedicine, this clinician may occasionally be dispatched for after hours visits including swabs, phlebotomy, or urgent care. Partner with Atria physicians to provide exceptional care in a state of the art facility, as well as providing care to our members in the comfort of their homesWorks collaboratively with CMOs to provide Preventive Care, Well Visits & Comprehensive Health Assessments in the Institute, also with direct and indirect supervision for urgent Home Care visitsFlexibility to work weekends and off hours for on-call coverage for home care visits and Institute coverage, as necessaryAdult Care NPs & PAs must have the ability to work fluidly and competently across multiple disciplines, including Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology and Geriatrics for cross coverage and to meet operational needs of the Institute to cover staff for illness, personal leave, vacation or continuing medical educationPediatric NPs & PAs must have ability to provide comprehensive Primary Care to the pediatric populationIs competent to provide care to members based upon the age groups treatedAdaptability to gain training and demonstrate competencies in a variety of Point of Care Testing modalities and devicesFlexibility to perform clinical, administrative and clerical tasks outside routine scope of practiceOpportunity to perform Exercise Physiology and Mobility Testing with DiersDariProviding Home Care Services for minor procedures, such as insertion of peripheral IV for medication administration, wound care, vaccinations and phlebotomy techniquesDocumentation and appropriate maintenance of Medical Records for membersTelehealth visits & Electronic prescribing of medications as neededEMR data integrationOpportunities for Growth & Development through involvement in various initiatives such as committees for Quality & Patient Safety, Protocol & Procedure Development and Review ProcessesMaintains a high quality workforce to assist in the achievement of the Organization's MissionMaintenance & upkeep of Professional Licenses, Certifications, DEA certification, State requirements and National Certifying Agencies credentialsParticipates in appropriate continuing medical education programs for maintenance of Continued Medical Education and CUEs for professional licensureSalary: Range: $170,000 - $190,000RequirementsCurrent NYS License required as NP for specialty, or current NYS Licensed PA2+ years' experience as practicing NP or PABLS certification from American Heart AssociationCapable and experienced with relevant procedures for proficiency in delivering care in specialty include (LIST)Available for variable weekend on-call assignmentThrives in a fast-paced, growing environmentBenefitsAt Atria, we are proud to offer every member of the Atria team:Excellent health and wellness benefits, 100% paid by AtriaTime to give back and make an impact in underserved communities
