Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following. Additional duties may be assigned as needed and may vary depending on specialty.Delivering safe and compassionate care to patients. Patient and family care, illness prevention and treatment education.Administration of medications and treatments and monitoring for patient response including side effects and reactions.Coordination and assistance in the delivery of a plan of health care Responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice and determines the appropriate delegation of tasks consistent with the nurse's obligation to provide optimal care. Completing initial assessment of patient condition and response to treatment and initiates follow-up as needed. Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with the medical team based on the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice, and revising of care plan according to evaluation of patient response and outcomes.Consistent, accurate and timely documentation of patient medical history, current health and nursing processes. Evaluating and documenting patient response to interventions and progress towards attainment of goals and expected outcomes. Completion of required training as assigned. Report all incidents, accidents, or potential hazards in accordance with established policies. Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsLicense, Certification, Education:Must be a U.S. citizen.American Heart Association BLS certification is required. ACLS is required for some specialtiesfacility types.Graduation of a state approved nursing program and completion of a state approved competency examinationBSN Preferred.Unencumbered Register Nurse license valid for the worksite state.Experience: Twelve months experience in a patient care setting, 3+ years' experience in critical care is preferred.RequirementsMust complete the onboarding and hiring process including background investigation(s) and drug screening; Backgrounds must be clear of any felony convictions.Health Records - Hep B, TB testchest x-ray, COVID-19 and influenza for the current season.
