EIT(Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is looking for an SMT Technician (experience with Siplace equipment a plus) to join our team in our Danville, VA plant! We will train and develop an experienced technician who has a desire to learn ASMPT Siplace technology. Job Description: The position ofSMT Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ASMPT Siplace equipment. Become proficient in systems technologies over time Perform complex maintenance repairs and overhauls Perform complete documentation of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repair work, and failures Provide support and work with networks, IT infrastructure, SQL databases and servers, etc. This may include limited domestic and international travel Qualifications and Experience: Two-year Associate Degree or Technical Certification with extensive experience preferred A minimum of 5 years of experience within the electronics industry required Experience with SIPLACE & DEK equipment and SIPLACE & DEK software preferred Must be fluent in English (written and spoken) Working Conditions: Warehouse environment.
