We specialize in the tourism, healthcare, food & beverage, consumer, and legal categories.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for an Advertising Media Planner. The Advertising Media Planner will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to media strategy, planning, negotiation, and management and reporting of campaigns. The role will manage several client campaigns, across different industries, with budgets in the mid-six to seven figures. The role will require the possession and delivery of media planning expertise that gives clients comfort and confidence, providing ideas and recommendations that address their needs, support their objectives, and grow their business in a measured way. As a master of media strategy and planning, there is a need for deep understanding of the role media channels play, as well as functional knowledge of planning ads across online, offline and non-traditional platforms. The outcome is the creation of an effective media plan that exceeds client goals, while empowering the media buying team to produce their greatest work.Responsibilities:Research and insight development for client industrybrandproductConduct team and client facing meetingsVet and negotiate media vendors, offline and onlineCreate Flowcharts around campaign initiatives that support client goals and KPIsCreate spec sheets for internal and external purposesSet up media campaigns, including generating Insertion Orders, trafficking artworkLaunch and managing paid media campaigns, ensuring they deliver predicted results and adhere to budget parametersOptimize campaigns to increase performance and steer outcomeCreate and deliver routine campaign performance reports to clientsConduct associated accounting related functions, including reviewapproving media vendor invoicesQualificationsExperience in media planning and media strategyAnalytical skills and proficiency in data analysisStrong communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of new media trends and platformsAttention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work independently and in a teamExperience in the tourism, healthcare, food & beverage, consumer, or legal industries is a plusBachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
