This pivotal role oversees the manufacturing process of 155MM artillery shells (Howitzer Ammunition Shells), guaranteeing strict compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and production schedules. This position is indispensable for ensuring the timely and efficient production of artillery shells vital for military operations.Responsibilities:Direct and oversee production personnel engaged in the manufacturing of 155MM artillery shells, ensuring efficient coordination of tasks.Vigilantly monitor production operations to uphold adherence to quality standards, technical specifications, and safety regulations.Strategically plan and coordinate production schedules to effectively meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.Provide comprehensive training, guidance, and performance evaluations for production staff to cultivate a highly skilled and proficient workforce.Proactively address production challenges by identifying and implementing corrective measures to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.Foster collaboration with engineering, quality control, and logistics teams to address technical issues and enhance production processes.Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to sustain uninterrupted production.Maintain the upkeep and precision calibration of production equipment and machinery to ensure operational efficiency.Enforce rigorous safety protocols to prevent accidents and uphold a secure working environment.Generate detailed production reports, performance metrics, and necessary documentation to support managerial decision-making processes.Requirements:5+ years manufacturing experience, preferably in artillery shell or munitions production, with leadership background.Proficient in production processes, equipment, and materials, including machining, assembly, and quality control.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, adept at managing teams under pressure.Familiarity with safety regulations, Lean manufacturing, and Microsoft Office for report generation and data analysis.Knowledgeable in military specifications, Six Sigma methodologies, and equipment maintenance.Experienced in production planning software utilization.
