Following rapid expansion into the Pennsylvania market, my client is looking to hire a Superintendent for their strong Heavy Civil backlog. My Client:My client, a top local GC, specializing in Civil Markets such as Heavy Rail, Bridges, Infrastructure, and Site Development. They are also a firm that goes above and beyond for employee well-being, showing a genuine care for work life balance.As a Superintendent specializing in Heavy Civil projects, your role will be carefully planning and executing construction initiatives, prioritizing safety, quality, and adherence to schedule. Your responsibilities will entail overseeing multiple project areas or trade disciplines, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery. Whilst also liaising with Senior Management and Clients providing updates on project progression.Responsibilities:A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Heavy Civil construction sector, focusing on projects such as highways, roads, bridges, site work, paving, and concrete work.Able to oversee multiple ongoing projects, with proficiency in organization, including strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Manage and distribute construction documentation to all members of the project team, encompassing plans, specifications, requests for information (RFIs), bulletins, and field reports.Previous involvement in projects with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).Attend and actively engage in weekly andor monthly meetings with customers and clients, offering progress updates.Strong communication abilities and team management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.5+ years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction.Basic budgeting and public safety.Strong communication skills.Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.OSHA 30 certification required.
