Assistant Construction Manager @ Burns and McDonnell St. Louis, MOJob Description: A client of Insight Global is looking to bring an Assistant Construction Manager onto their team in the Columbus, OH or St. Louis, MO area. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with the Project or Site Managers to assist with daily management of project contracts, proposals, estimates, schedule, quality, safety, documentation, etc. In addition to collaborating internally, the Assistant Construction Manager will be interfacing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficiency and timeliness through project completion. The Assistant Construction Manager will be heavily ingrained in the finances of the project and must have an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This individual will be required to work in the office 5 days a week.Requirements: Bachelors Degree (STEM preferred)3-6 years of experience working on construction sites to assist in the execution of a projectPrevious experience with scheduling, document control, and cost controlAbility to work onsite 5 days a week.Withholds a great understanding of financials and is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
