Position: Network EngineerAdminLocation: On-site 4x a week in Baton Rouge, LAShift: Mon-Thurs Insight Global is seeking an experienced Network EngineerAdministrator to support a large manufacturing company at one of their sites in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This candidate, under minimal supervision, will work to develop standard network management work processes, and manage projects aimed at improving plant automation. This candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Process Control and Engineering teams to fine-tune automation networks for peak performance, spearheading projects that align with the client's ITOT strategic vision, and partnering with cybersecurity teams to built more resilient systems. Day - to - DayDevelop and Implement projects that support the overall ITOT visionImplement and Support the 5-year technical roadmapPartner with corporate network architects to implement standard, robust, and reliable systemsPartner with Cybersecurity architects to secure Industrial Control Systems and enable the connected manufacturing enterprise of the future (Industry 4.0)Partner with Process Control and Engineering capabilities to deliver communication networks that are optimized for reliable automationAbility to investigate, analyze, and correct complex network issuesExperience withor demonstrated aptitude to be trained on Industrial control systems (DCSPLC)Experience withor demonstrated aptitude to be trained on process control software platformsRequirements3+ years of experience working on network infrastructureCisco equipment, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points and Controllers VMWare and SANsActive Directory, DNS, Domain ControllersKnowledge of Cyber security best practices (i.e. Purdue Model)Experience working with processindustrial control systemsWilling to travel 10% of the timePlusses:Experience within a manufacturing environmentExperience with OSI PI, Kepware, RSLinx or equivalent industrial communications softwareExperience with PLCSCADA andor DCS hardware & networksAbility to troubleshoot PLC DCS connectivityKnowledge of Experion PKS, TDC 3000, DeltaV, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, Ignition or equivalent systemsExperience with IIoT, edge computing, and cloud computingBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field
